The Boat

The Southern Magnolia is a custom-built 72-foot aluminum expedition trawler. We carry six 14-foot fiberglass skiffs that are equipped with Yamaha four-stroke outboards. This vessel is battleship tough, yet brings luxurious comforts such as large freshwater tanks, massive below deck generators to power central air and heat, two full bathrooms with showers, a full kitchen where delicious meals are made, satellite television, and stereo speakers located all around the boat.

 

Although it's nice to be off the grid, in case of emergencies, we are equipped with satellite phone communication. The boat is also fully-outfitted with the latest U.S. Coast Guard approved safety equipment and floatation devices to ensure your safety.

We can accommodate up to 10 charter guests with 5 two-man bunk rooms provided with thoroughly cleaned and sanitized linings and pillows before each trip. The Captain and Mates sleep in separate quarters where they rest a few hours at a time, rotating in and out, so that someone is always on the lookout and fulfilling your needs.

The Southern Magnolia is docked in the Pass Christian Harbor in Pass Christian, Mississippi located a short distance from I-10 and the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.
